Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment Directive

The European Union has adopted a new directive, the Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment (WEEE) Directive, which aims to reduce the amount of electrical and electronic equipment being produced and to encourage everyone to reuse, recycle and recover it. The WEEE Directive also aims to improve the environmental performance of businesses that manufacture, supply, use, recycle and recover electrical and electronic equipment. The directive applies to all electrical and electronic products, and was introduced into UK law in January 2007.

Presto is committed to compliance with the Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment Directive.

We currently do not supply any products that fall into this category, however we continue to monitor this and should the situation change in the future, we will update this policy.
