REACH Directive
Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals Directive
The European Union has adopted a new directive, the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) Directive, which requires that sufficient information on Substances of Very High
Concern (SVHC) contained in products in concentration above 0.1% weight by weight (w/w) is communicated to allow the safe use of the product. The directive applies to all electrical and electronic products, and was
introduced into UK law in June 2007.
REACH Policy
Presto is committed to compliance with the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals Directive.
We currently do not supply any products that fall into this category, however we continue to monitor the SVHC candidate list and should the situation change in the future, we will update this policy.
