The MLX16205 is a multiple purpose intelligent relay driver ASIC designed for automotive applications, using the RX16000 16-bit parallel microcontroller from Melexis. Integrated analogue and digital features allow ease of design for various automotive applications using minimal external components.
Different interrupts allow the IC to act on real time events. The circuit is also protected for a 40V load dump pulse.
