The BCT1071SS is specifically designed for LED and LED display applications using PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) control with 14 bit color depth. The BCT1071SS provides a constant output current for driving the LEDs against for the variation of LED forward voltage (Vf).

The constant output current can be preset through an external resistor. Moreover, the preset output current with external resistor can be programmed up to 256 levels for LED global brightness adjustment.

The BCT1071SS consists of 16 bit shift registers, latches, and-gates, constant current driver and 14 bit PWM controller.
