Product Datasheet for the STE AK62 / AK67 RF Transceiver Modules

Features

  • 136MHz to 175MHz
  • VHF
  • Crystal Controlled
  • 10W-15W ( 25W Marine Version ) Tx O/P
  • FM / PM Modulation
  • 12.5Khz / 20Khz / 25Khz / 30Khz / 50KHz Channel Spacing
  • Microprocessor Controller
  • PC Programmable
  • FFSK 1.2KBaud / 2.4KBaud / 4.8KBaud Modem
  • The AK62 is a synthesized and PC programmable Transceiver providing up to 16 switch selectable RF channels for simplex or half duplex operation.

It has been designed in accordance with ETS300-086 ( Voice ) and ETS300-113 ( Voice + Data ) regulations and with an optional modem board can provide wireless links between a wide variety of data monitoring equipment.

The module is manufactured using Surface Mount Technology ( SMT ) and is therefore compact and reliable. A direct connection to the RS232 port of a computer is all that is required to program the Tx / Rx channel frequencies, the subaudio encode-decode tones, the RF output power, the Tx time-out time and the special Rx energy save function.
